Your dress and fabric

Each qipao is hand-made to order by our experienced Hong Kong tailors, using the style, available stock fabric and measurements you select. The price is US$488 per dress, including stock fabric and shipping to destinations supported at checkout.

Mini, knee-length and midi images are visual demonstrations. Your order must specify the desired shoulder-to-hem dress length in inches or centimeters. Stock-fabric previews are AI-created visualizations; actual pattern placement and colors may vary from the images and between screens.

Measurements and fit

Please submit accurate body measurements and check your saved profile before every order. Do not add extra room or an allowance to the measurements you submit. Finished dress measurements may vary by up to ±5% from the submitted measurements.

If the measurements you submitted were correct but your dress does not fit, we provide free alterations and pay the postage. If the submitted measurements were incorrect, an alteration fee of 25% of the dress price paid applies, and you pay the postage. Contact us first for review and return instructions to our San Diego-area service. Allow four weeks for alterations from the date the dress reaches us, plus shipping time.

Delivery and rush orders

Standard delivery takes approximately 6–8 weeks. Rush delivery takes approximately 4 weeks and adds 25% to the dress price: US$122 extra, or US$610 per dress. Delivery time begins when payment, fabric choice and complete measurements are confirmed.

Event type and date are optional. Supplying an event date helps us plan your order but does not change the delivery service selected. Please allow sufficient time before your event.

Custom orders and returns

Custom-made qipaos cannot be returned for a refund. Fit concerns are handled through the alteration service described above. If you need to change an order, contact us promptly with your order number; changes depend on how far production has progressed. Please read our Shipping & alterations policy.

Your account and privacy

When signed in, you can save measurements to your personal profile and add up to three optional fit photos for the tailor. Please read our Privacy Policy for information about how your details and photos are handled.
