This page explains how information is used when you browse chinesetailor.com, order a qipao, contact us, or save a measurement profile.

Information you give us

When you order, we collect the contact and delivery details, order selections, measurements, and payment status needed to process your purchase. If you create an account, we also keep your account details and order history. Enquiries include the information you submit through our contact form or send to us.

Measurements and optional fit photos

Measurements saved while signed in form part of your personal profile so they can be reviewed and reused for future orders. Measurements submitted with an order are also kept with that order; changing your profile does not rewrite past order details.

You may upload up to three optional body-shape photos to help the tailor understand your fit. These photos are kept privately, with access restricted to you and authorised store staff. They are not published in our website’s image gallery. The upload process removes embedded photo metadata, including location information.

You can update your saved measurements and remove fit photos through Measurements & photos. Removed photos become unavailable for normal viewing and have a 24-hour undo period before scheduled deletion.

Browser storage and cookies

The site uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, maintain your cart and wishlist, and support checkout and site operation. The measurement guide can also keep a draft on your device for up to 30 days. Use the guide’s clear-draft control or clear your browser storage to remove a local draft. Clearing a browser draft does not delete an account profile or an order record.

Payments and service providers

Payment information is handled by the payment provider offered at checkout. We receive the payment and transaction details needed to administer your order. Hosting, payment, delivery, and other service providers may process information needed to operate the store and fulfil orders under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

If you follow a link to another website or use third-party embedded content, that provider may collect information under its own privacy policy.

Keeping and protecting information

We use account and order information to make and deliver your garment, provide customer support, maintain records, and protect the store against misuse. Account information remains available while the account is maintained. Order and transaction records may need to be retained for business, tax, legal, or security purposes even after a profile or account is removed. Backups may retain information until they are replaced through normal backup rotation.

Your choices and requests

Sign in to My account to update account details, or visit your measurement profile to review measurements and photos. You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. We may need to verify your identity, and some records may need to be retained for the purposes described above.
